At the N.C. Department of Commerce, I was part of a team that converted the department's main web presence from an antiquated Microsoft CMS to a streamlined, professional DotNetNuke-based system. I served as a liaison with the department's advertising contractor (who provided the initial design) and the department's technical staff. I also developed and provided training for the site's 80 editors.
In April, 2014, NCRLA migrated its website and member database from Affiniscape (Cold Fusion-base web content management system) to Your Membership (DotNetNuke). I was responsible for migrating all web content and ensuring that the new site was responsive, and met the needs of our association members. The site's design had not been updated in several years.
At left is a screen grab of the old site.
